Aristoteles Latinus

by Aristotle

Published 1 January 1970
The last and only complete Mediaeval Latin translation of Aristotle's Metaphysics is the work of the Flemish Dominican William of Moerbeke, which was widely distributed and is still preserved in more than 200 manuscripts. The critical edition of this text, with an extensive preface and complete indices, provides an important source for the study of Mediaeval philosophy and theology.
