This book is intended to show parents how they can help their child become familiar with counting up to five, matching numbers and putting numbers in order in ten steps. Simple adding on and taking away of one is introduced and through activities the child with the help of an adult gradually progresses through the book. There are colourful animal motif reward stickers, notes for parents on each page, and a varnished A3 pull-out in the middle of the book provides a teddy bears picnic gameboard with many opportunities for counting.
