"21st-century science" is a buzz phrase in curriculum development, particularly at KS4/GCSE level. Space covers everything from new types of re-usable space vehicle to the search for intelligent extra-terrestrial life. Telecommunications looks at the newest mobile phone technology, the Internet and many other aspects of electronic communications now and in the future. The books are illustrated with approximately 2 photographs per double-page spread plus artworks and diagrams.
