This series of teacher resource guides provides advice, information and resources on essential National Curriculum topics. They offer practical suggestions for activities and project work, with particular emphasis on cross-curricular approach. The guides begin with advice on how to teach the particular subject including extracts and summaries of information. A section then looks at classroom origination, record-keeping and assessment, and provides details of how the guides meet the requirements of the National Curriculum. The worksheet will compose two-thirds of the work. This material is all photocopiable, and offers activities which develop a range of skills, involving pupils in writing, drawing, CDT, discussion, problem-solving and research. The activities are suitable for individual and group work, and involve the minimum of equipment and supervision.
