Ruined House

by Mick Manning

Published 14 April 1994
The ruined house of this book was built hundreds of years ago and stands in a quiet valley in the north of England. Long since abandoned by humankind, the ancient house is now a haven for wild plants and insects, birds and butterflies. It's the author's favourite place and here, with sun-dappled water-colours and intriguing facts, he explores and explains its many natural wonders.
