Radar, Sonar and Navigation
1 total work
An introduction to the key aspects of modern radar and the areas in which radar is applied. The initial chapters introduce radar and what it does, and the remainder of the book leads the reader through the principles of radar and its specialist language, and illustrates the applications of these principles. The emphasis throughout is on concepts rather than details, and the mathematical treatment is kept to a minimum although the key equations for performance evaluation are given. This book aims to provide an easy-to-read overview of modern developments in radar. It should be useful to undergraduates in electrical and electronic engineering, communications and physics as well as practising engineers in the radar industry, including new users.
