This is the story of "Big J" - Julius Caesar. Where ever you look, he's there: coins, statues, he's a real celebrity, and he's getting a bit too big for his sandals. He is fast losing all his friends, especially Brutus. This is a very enjoyable story about the great Roman general, with an abundance of accurate historical detail in the illustrations, and plenty of amusement to be had with the speech bubbles. The fights soon start - Tolly doesn't like her cat, and worse, he's got his beefy friends, and together they push Cleo off the throne. But luckily for Cleo, Jules the super soldier is in town, and Cleo has a really clever idea for getting him to help her. This story is about the Egyptian queen, with an abundance of historical detail in the illustrations, and plenty of amusement to be had with the speech bubbles. A "did you know?" list at the back offers interesting facts about the character and notes are included for parents or teachers.
