This is an interpretation of the life, personality and political career of David Lloyd George which attempts to challenge the traditional view of Lloyd George as an outsider in British politics. The book explains the economic, social and political developments of Lloyd George's career and his role in effecting those changes. As part of the "Profiles in Power" series, it aims to provide both an understanding of political, economic and social developments on the one hand with an appraisal of the individual's role on the other.
