This volume spans the field of polymer colloids. Many types of latexes are represented including: homopolymers, copolymers, and natural polymers, those made with reactive surfactants and polymeric stabizers, surface-modified, hybrids and blends. A variety of polymerization processes are described varying from batch to semicontinuous, free radical, and controlled free radical; dispersion and suspension are also presented. Polymerization kinetcs, on-line
monitoring, and control are also included.
