The young girl had no choice but to stay on board this Pirate ship, especially since she could not return to live in her hometown of Marseilles, which became devastated by a terrible plague epidemic.
Blandine is wounded and her encounter with the Pirate Captain and her crew is full of sufferings and misunderstandings.
