We each take in around 14lbs of chemicals and 2oz of heavy metals such as lead and copper every year. There are two ways of dealing with this problem. First is the avoidance of such intake, but it is not a very practical solution, we can give up smoking or dilute water but we can't just give up and go an live on an unpolluted desert island. The other choice is to adjust our diet to enable the detoxification mechanisms we have to be enhanced and work to their best potential. This manual offers ways in which you can rid your body of toxins, in order to maximize health and reduce the incidence of degenerative diseases which are linked to the toxins and artifical hormones in our environment. The detox diet helps to enhance the sense of well-being, and can reduce the symptoms often associated with an excess toxic load - headaches, skin rashes, nausea, tiredness, cellulite and such like.
