"Exam Success: IEE Wiring Regulations 2382-20" is a new publication created by City & Guilds, in collaboration with the Institution of Engineering and Technology. It is an exam practice guide, intended to help candidates of the City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in the Requirements for Electrical Installations (16th to 17th Edition Update BS 7671:2008) to prepare for the exam. This exam is for those candidates who already hold their 2381 Certificate and who need to become conversant with the changes and new material in the 17th Edition of the "IEE Wiring Regulations".This book sets out methods of studying, offers advice on exam preparation and provides details of the scope and structure of the examination, alongside two sample exam papers with answers and references to the relevant section of the "IEE Wiring Regulations". Used as a study guide for exam preparation and practice, it will help you to reinforce and test your existing knowledge, and will give you guidelines and advice about sitting the exam.

Revised to incorporate the 2nd Amendment (December 1997) to the Wiring Regulations, this text aims to help engineers overcome problems they may face when interpreting the Regulations. Derivations of the requirements are included, along with relevant formulae and installation design calculations. There is also guidance on related areas such as EMC, allowance for harmonic currents and the use of cable armouring.
