It is the second in this series of short books for children which use myth and illustrations to heighten awareness of the plight of endangered species. The first was "Rhino's Horn". A percentage of the royalties from these books will go to the World Wildlife Fund. John Hare has written numerous books for children under the pseudonym Dan Fulani.
