This resource pack looks at managing ICT within geography with advice for students on software presentations, Internet use and website creation, use of digital cameras, GIS systems and datalogging. There is guidance on evaluating CD-ROMs and on using spreadsheets, databases and desk-top publishing. It aims to help students enhance their geographical learning through use of appropriate ICT tasks, and to select and use secondary sources of information, as well as communicate and exchange ideas in decision making and problem solving for project work. The CD-ROM has templates, databases, interactive activities and customizable worksheets, specific geographical software with OS mapping, additional resources and case study material.
