Goal! is one of Ransom's most successful high interest, low reading age reading programmes. It is aimed at children aged 6 to 14, with a reading age of 5 to 7, and is ideal for children who are struggling to develop the basics of reading and who need structured systematic phonics-based reading books.



The Goal programme is based round Letters and Sounds phonics scheme and offers structured progression over five levels.



The library pack includes the 48 fiction and non- fiction titles, each covering a different football-related topic or story. Each level includes fiction and non-fiction titles, all fully illustrated including photos of major league players. It also includes seven free workbooks with photocopiable worksheets containing a range of interesting activities to develop pupils literacy skills.
