A sneaky 'big egg' swap leads to a hairy and hilarious hunt for the real thing!
When Mrs Stigson the Stegosaurus lays an egg there is great rejoicing - Darwin always wanted a baby sister. But leaving mad Uncle Loops in charge of egg-sitting is not a good idea. On her return, Mrs Stigson is certain that it is not the egg she laid. Darwin is determined to get to the bottom of it and suspects a certain gangster T-rex is behind the swap.
But which is the 'real' Stegasaurus egg? And what will stop Flint Beastwood from smashing it on his wedding day?
Jeanne Willis's madcap characters and story, with Arthur Robins' inspired illustration, are certain to tickle anyone's funny-bone!
Mr Stigson and Darwin are football-mad. After the key World Cup game, Darwin is fired up to improve his skills, but having to take his baby sister Stella along is no fun. When Rocky, the nephew of the mean Flint Beastwood, tries to join Darwin and his friends, Stella reveals that Rocky has been bullying her.
Darwin refuses to play with him and the other dinos ban Rocky from the game. His revenge sets off a chain of events that lead to a carnivores vs herbivores footie match and things spiral out of control!
When a Stegosaurus family, Mr and Mrs Stigson and their son Darwin, throw a party for Uncle Loop's 150th birthday, it is gate-crashed by Flint Beastwood, the gangster-like T-rex, his thuggish sidekicks Mr Cretaceous (a terrifying Dinoscuchus) and Terry O'Dactyl (a psychotic Pteranodon). War seems to be on the horizon for the carnivores and the herbivores as kidnaps and thefts follow. Mayor Boris (a Triceratops) proposes Olympic Games to bring peace and stop the fighting. But can the dinosaurs settle their differences through sport or will it only make things worse?

A new dinosaur sighting leads to a series of ingenious disguises and hilarious chaos!
Both Raptor Road and Fossil Street are up in arms as a new dinosaur has been seen in the forest nearby. Mayor Boris imposes a curfew. But is it Dippy who has jumped ship from Flint Beastwood's gang and is disguising himself as a dragon? Or is it a vicious new carnivore that only Uncle Loops has spotted? When Darwin goes missing, the herbivores feel they must disguise themselves as trees (carnivores don't eat trees) and search for him . . .
