Corrective Reading provides intensive intervention for students in Grades 4-12 who are reading one or more years below grade level. This program delivers tightly sequenced, carefully planned lessons that give struggling students the structure and practice necessary to become skilled, fluent readers and better learners. Four levels for decoding plus four for comprehension address the varied reading deficits and skill levels found among older students. Includes a point system based on realistic goals to motivate students who are often expected to fail.

Students who need some of the informationand reviews presented in Comprehension B1but are close to placing in Comprehension C dowell in Comprehension B1 Fast Cycle. Thisprogram presents the same sequence of skillsas Comprehension B1, but at an acceleratedpace (35 lessons, compared to 60).

Students can only enter Comprehension B2after completing Comprehension B1 or B1 FastCycle. The program continues and expandsupon the skills presented in previous levels

Students who place in Comprehension Chave already learned many skills. Theycan draw conclusions from evidence,make inferences, and respond to specificinstructions. Their primary deficiency is inusing those skills independently
