By means of a central focus on festivals, this series gives children an introductory overview of different countries throughout the world. The information is designed in a lively fashion to catch the interest of young children. Each volume is based on a different country or group of countries and brings to life that country's geography, history, customs, religions and culture. Through songs, maps, artwork and photographs as well as craft projects and stories, each page draws the child in and provides activities that complement their schoolwork.
