One day a rather unpleasant giant called Mouldylocks decides it is time for him to find a good wife. He comes across three cottages - inhabited by three Clares - Great Big Clare, Tiny Wee Clare and Medium-sized Clare. He puts each of them to the test in turn. He discards Big Clare and Little Clare but decides that Medium-sized Clare is just right. There's a twist in the tale though, when Medium-sized Clare decides that Mouldylocks is not at all right for her.
Scruff is no ordinary cat. He believes he's the greatest singer in the world. It's a pity his owners don't feel the same. But when Scruff sets out to look for someone who will enjoy hearing him sing, he is not prepared for what he'll find. When he comes upon a singing contest he sees his chance to prove how fantastic he is at last! Or will the arrival of the prettiest cat in the whole world change everything?
