This guide presents easy home decorating projects combining inspiration and practical advice, all created using Laura Ashley's range of fabrics and trimmings. The projects require practically no sewing. Going round the house room by room, each is illustrated with a before-and-after scene, so that the reader can see precisely how the room has been transformed. Then there are step-by-step diagrams, plus instructions, and a list of the materials needed. A series of colour photographs showing different treatments at the end of each chapter offers yet more possibilities, with design ideas for window treatments, chair covers, cushions, table and bed covers and so on. The emphasis throughout is on producing a loose, creative and stylish finish with the minimum of effort.
