This updated manual prepares high school students for the preliminary version of the SAT college entrance exam, the PSAT. The test also functions as the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (NMSQT), which gives students a chance to qualify for valuable college scholarships. The opening section of Barron's updated fifteenth edition familiarizes students with the PSAT test format, and includes sample questions and detailed test-taking advice. Students are shown how the test is scored, and are offered tips on how to approach each of the test's different question types.
