Organized by calendar month, this collection aims to provide activities for timefillers, as part of specific topics or as sheets with which to decorate books and notice boards. The activities are based on both core and foundation subjects, including maths and history, as well as the cross curricular themes of RE, economical and industrial understanding and environmental and health education. Within each month there are ideas on the weather, festivals such as Mothers' Day, famous people's birthdays, special events, such as a celebration of the day John McCarthy was freed, the landing on the moon and so on.
