Carlo Likes Reading

Carlo likes reading everywhere and everything. He reads his bedroom, his breakfast - he even reads his dad! That's because everything in his colourful world has a clear label attached with its name on it - slippers, Crackers the cat, fly, teapot, bin, grater and milk. Children learning to read can point, say and read through the day with Carlo, a sympathetic and likeable character. And if the reading gets frustrating, Carlo doesn't worry about it - he likes galloping too!

Carlo Likes Colours

In 'Carlo Likes Colours', the endearing, gangly young giraffe spots colours wherever he goes - a red fire-engine in the street, a green frog in the park and blue splashes in the swimming pool! Children will love to point and say all the colours they can see along with Carlo.

Carlo, the young giraffe, goes with his dad and his cat Crackers to the new library for the first time. Carlo loves the new library with its books and posters and chairs with wheels. But he's a bit scared of the sharp-toothed crocodile librarian Mrs Chinca - until he finds out just how much she really loves books.
