For their final test, Midge, Harley, Vert and Snaffle must deliver dreams by daylight. Team Leader Flint has chosen four simple dream-drops, so it should be easy-peasy! But something is not right. Who is the mysterious Dark Side chef, and why are their missions so fraught with danger? As their daydreams turn into nightmares, who knows whether the Dream Team will ever earn their stripes and graduate...
It's time for the Dream Team to make their first solo flights, delivering dreams all over the world. Dangerous work when you're only seven centimetres tall! And as if flying solo wasn't bad enough, Vert's suffering from vertigo, Midge has a guilt-trip about delivering a nightmare, Snaffle's determined to be the best at any cost, and Harley's happy just flying as far and as fast as she can! The team has a long way to go before they become fully-fledged Dream Fetchers.
The Dream Team faces its hardest test to date: the notorious speed trials. The first person back gets the highest marks and, as usual, Snaffle is determined to win, no matter what the cost. Harley's not going to give up without a fight, though. But when Vert gets into a spot of bother with a pair of hungry ferrets, she and Midge sacrifice their speeds to help. Will they make it back to Dreamside all in one piece?

Vert rescues two stranded humans, Harley visits the circus and Midge bakes up a special forgiveness dream for a human racked by guilt. The pressure's on and it's time to put petty rivalries aside. But it's only when Snaffle takes Harley along on his mission and nearly loses her to a vicious cat that he realizes there are some things more important than winning points.
