This title deals with the GWR and LNWR in Shropshire. Their railways are represented in a series of photographs throughout the book. There is information on the development of the network within the county, as well as information on closure dates and stations along with timetables. The author also tries to recall the "wars" which brought about the development of much of the railway line, and sample allocations of loco sheds which provided engines to operate trains in Shropshire and beyond.
