The company also embarked on a year-long world tour as diverse as Bucharest and Tokyo, Cairo and Paris. The author considers the shifting sands of the play's meaning in so many countries. Brian Cox has also written "Salem to Moscow" and in 1990 won the International Theatre Institute Award for services to theatre.
