Rock 'n' Roll, one of the most loved genres in the history of music, began in the 1950s. Combining a variety of musical styles, rock music developed into a cultural phenonmenon first in the United States, and later across the globe. Students will learn all about the Rock 'n' Roll greats, who mixed different styles of music to form the phenomenal sounds that people continue to enjoy today. This title will allow students to analyze multiple accounts of the same event or topic, noting important similarities and differences in the point of view they represent.
