But everything changes for Tsuna when Reborn, a fedora-wearing, gun-toting toddler who claims to be an Italian hit man, shows up at his house. Reborn was sent to Japan to groom Tsuna for his future life as a big mafia boss! Reborn's gun has quite an unusual effect: When Reborn shoots people in the head, they die but are then 'reborn' with temporary supernatural powers that allow them to fulfil their dying wish. Reborn and Tsuna make an unlikely pair, but every day they're together, Tsuna gets reborn into a new (and better) guy!

Akira Amano was born in Aichi Prefecture, located in central Japan. After early versions of the series were published in seinen (young men's) manga magazines, Reborn!first appeared in Weekly Shonen Jumpas a stand-alone short story in late 2003. The massive success of this one-shot story led Weekly Shonen Jumpto begin serializing Reborn!in mid-2004. Amano's work, with its entertaining mix of action, comedy and drama, remains extremely popular with readers.

Yamamoto uses the Shigure Soen Ryu sword technique taught to him by his father to battle Superbi Squalo, who has beaten a Shigure Soen Ryu tutor once before. Even though Squalo sees through his moves, Yamamoto refuses to lose faith in the technique and presses on. The question is, does he have any chance of winning? Meanwhile, the identity of the person chosen to be Tsuna's Mist Guardian is finally revealed.

He responds by passing out, though he manages to revive in time to join his friends in a celebration of the victory. But just when things appear to be returning to normal, Reborn gets into a fight with Lambo. Lambo tries to shoot himself with his Ten-Year Bazooka and hits Reborn instead. What happens next launches Tsuna into his most bizarre adventure yet!
