The Oliver & Boyd Geography series has been written to provide full coverage of the new primary geography curriculum using flexible, topic-based work. Focusing on real-life localities within the UK, Europe and the wider world, the series aims to help children to develop geography skills and knowledge with an integrated approach. Designed for use at Key Stage Two, this Evaluation Pack contains the appropriate Pupil's Book, and accompanying Teacher's Book and Copymasters set. The Pupil's Books are closely linked to the National Curriculum Programme of Study and cover "locality study" requirements. They have been designed to tie in with popular primary topic work. The Teacher's Book provides practical advice and support, linking the various components. The sections on Pupil's Books give expanded information and activities, as well as advice on cross-curricular links. Additional sections provide information technology, a resource checklist, advice on assessment and profiles of National Curriculum coverage. The Copymasters provide a wide range of activities supporting and extending the Pupil's Books and provide a ready-made means of assessment as required by the National Curriculum.
