Book 1
Just as Misty and her friends start to make their way back to Coral Kingdom with the magic crystals for Queen Neptuna, a storm whipped up by the evil Mantora throws them right off course! Misty and her fellow Sisters of the Sea are lost, but they must find their way home as quickly as possible in order to complete their important mission. Misty comes up with a brilliant plan to help her mermaid friends, as well as saving a forest deep in the ocean from a terrible end.
Book 2
Ellie and her friends are on their way back to Coral Kingdom with the magic crystals for Queen Neptuna, when a storm is whipped up by the evil Mantora which throws them right off course. Ellie and her fellow Sisters of the Sea are lost, but they must find their way home as quickly as possible in order to complete their important mission. Ellie must find a very special ingredient to add to her potion to help her mermaid friends, as well as saving a group of sea gulls from a sticky end.
Book 4
Just as Holly and her friends start to make their way back to Coral Kingdom with the magic crystals for Queen Neptuna, a storm whipped up by the evil Mantora throws them right off course! Holly and her fellow Sisters of the Sea are lost, but they must find their way home as quickly as possible in order to complete their important mission. Holly must be very brave so she can help her mermaid friends, and save the turtles's home from danger.
Book 5
The wicked Mantora sets another trap for the young mermaids by littering a beach where a seal family lives, and Scarlett's bossiness interferes with the clean-up effort, further delaying the mission to bring the magic crystals home.
Book 6
Having had many struggles to bring back all the magic crystals, the mermaids plan to celebrate but the evil Mantora has other plans and it is up to shy, timid Lucy to find a way to save the Coral Kingdom once and for all.

On the mermaid's route to finding the second Snow Diamond they discover that a baby polar bear and walrus have gone missing from their families and Katie and her friends vow to help find them. In gratitude, the chief walrus helps the mermaids to unravel the riddle which Mantora has devised to stall them in their quest for the next Snow Diamond.
