Nuffield Mathematics 5-11

This book has been designed to help teachers to introduce pupils to LOGO, the computer language which enables young children to define and explore their own puzzles and problems. The language has been developed with young pupils in mind and the design eases the teacher's introduction to what is often a daunting new field. This book involves the use of "turtles" - both abstract and mechanical - which are controlled by using some of the commands of the LOGO language.
