"Let me tell you about the day my life ended. I remember it as if it was yesterday which, maybe, it was. Or perhaps it will be tomorrow. I lose track. After all, it was a long time ago."
At first, Jamie Grant thinks people are just ignoring him. His teacher, his classmates, even his own mother - everyone apart from his little sister, Ellie - are suddenly acting as if he's not around. He's fallen off the register at school, people don't reply to his questions, and he's not even showing up in old family photos. Creepy or what?
Eventually, with the help of the friendly but mysterious Anna, he comes to realise that he doesn't exist. He never has. He's fallen through a time break and is living in a parallel world in which he was never born. What's more, Jamie discovers that although he is outside time, he has the power to control it - and so he and Anna are employed as Time Runners to fix the rips in time. But they must work against the sinister Darkling Midnight, who is intent on causing chaos throughout history, to prevent time from falling apart...

IJamie Grant is a Time Runner - recruited by his friend Anna to help fix problems with time and keep history on track. They're heading back through time to Elizabethan London to try to prevent an assassination. But the man they're looking for is no ordinary killer. Dressed in a modern business suit and with a high-powered sniper rifle, his sights are set on Will Shakespeare and changing history - if Jamie and Anna don't stop him. Their old enemy, Darkling Midnight, wants to form an alliance against the assassin. But can he be trusted? As the Spanish Armada, wrecked and defeated eight years previously, surfaces from the watery depths and soldiers who should be long-dead leap ashore to invade England, Jamie and Anna realise that nothing is quite as it seems. And it will take all their courage and ingenuity to defeat their sinister enemy …
Book 3
The USA in 2021 is not a pleasant place - after the death of President Carlton in 2016, civilisation has broken down. Several states have ceded, the people fear for their lives. There are gun battles on the city streets and barely enough food to go round. Jamie and Anna are with a group of children at a scientific facility on the outskirts of Washington DC - a compound guarded by the army and with rioters and disaffected clamouring to get inside this safe-haven. But Jamie and Anna don't care about that - they're here because someone at the facility is developing time travel, and that shouldn't happen for centuries yet. With rioters breaking in from outside, and a terrifying monster on the loose inside, our heroes meet the businessman who's funding the research: Darkling Midnight. Can Jamie and Anna stop the monster, escape the rioters, and discover what Midnight's up to? How is it all tied up with the death of the President? And why are the children here - unless they are part of the time experiments themselves?
Book 4
Jamie and Anna are Time Runners - they keep history moving in the right direction. Their latest mission takes them to Britain in the 1950s, during the Cold War. It's a time Anna knows well - it's when she's from before she fell through the cracks in time.
But something's terribly wrong. Why is a Russian spy attending a dinner party held by the man in charge of Britain's nuclear development? Why is a ghostly image of Anna being dragged away by grotesque imp-like creatures? Why does the mysterious Mr Prophecy never leave his room? And why is there a corridor reaching back through time hidden in the cellar?
If Jamie and Anna don't find out quickly, it could be too late. It could be the end of the world…
