Every year, the town has a Summer Games field day, and George wants to join in on the fun, especially if the prize is a medal! But what is the perfect Summer Games event for a little monkey? When George finds a sport that he loves and is a natural at, he must practice, practice, practice. With some teamwork and cheering on the contestants, George is ready to make this the best Summer Games!
George's friend Marco wants to make his famous tortillas for his abuela's birthday, and George is happy to help! But when George knocks over the bag of masa and the grocery store has run out, George and Marco are worried that the birthday surprise will be ruined. Luckily, Uncle Enrique is there to take them on a new adventure to find out where masa comes from, how it's made, and how it gets from the farm to Marco's table. This story also includes two activities to help reinforce the concept of where food comes from and how it gets into our stores and onto our plates.
