We catch up on all the ninja's that took part in the Sasuke Retrieval mission, and we find out what all our favourite ninja's plan to do over the two and a half years before the time-skip. Part One then ends with a chilling image of what is to come in Part Two.

The second half, however is what makes this book unique. It covers the story of how Kakashi got his Sharingan. A heartbreaking and yet deep insight into how Kakashi's personality was shaped to be what it is now.
