Introducing children to the environmental problems faced by today's society, this book, which is one of a series, aims to promote a positive attitude towards caring for the environment, by teaching children the small and practical things that they can do to help alleviate the problems. Case histories and photographs correspond to the reader's own lives which means they have something with which they can strongly identify. The photographs are central to the book and often they tell the story as well as the text. Included are notes for teachers and a list of adresses to contact. It is designed for National Curriculum Key Stage 1 P1-3.
