Mulberry has sneaked into school. He has fun with a skipping-rope in the playground until someone wants to chase him. Then he meets the caretaker, who's not happy about Mulberry's mucky pawprints. And when Mulberry gets trapped in a cupboard, he decides that he has learnt enough for one day.
