'The Great Spirit' is White Eagle's most frequent name for the power behind our lives which is beyond name: God, the Oneness, Brahma. This book arises directly out of White Eagle's experience and knowledge while on earth in a Native American body, and it shows a way of living that is deeply reverential of nature, and one lived in deep awareness of a higher world we can contact inwardly. The brotherhood of life with which it deals thus embraces not only humanity, but the natural world and the worlds beyond death. The text is an expanded version of a former White Eagle title, "Sun Men of the Americas". New introduction by Jenny Dent and Jean LeFevre are included, and the whole is introduced by White Eagle's earthly medium, Grace Cooke.
