This support and assessment pack accompanies a text which covers science concepts for Key Stage 3. The pack contains: starter exercises, to help determine whether pupils have grasped Key Stage 2 knowledge; support sheets, to aid the least able pupils; further work and supplementary information to back up the pupil books; end-of-module tests, differentiated throughout and in a SAT format; and answers to the questions contained in the pupil books and the end-of-module tests. The pack also provides teacher's notes which include schemes of work, suggested teaching strategies and guidance on implementing the course.
