Spectrum – Number is a useful resource that strongly supports the aims and objectives of number work within the Framework for Teaching Mathematics. The series comprises a Teacher’s Guide and Workbooks/Pupil Book per year group (Y1-Y6).

Teacher’s Guides
•Activities and ideas that can be structured to suit the model of a daily mathematics lesson
•Teaching activities with clear objectives referenced to the Framework for Teaching Maths
•Suggestions for introduction to main teaching activities (often focused on mental strategies), are followed by notes on the main teaching activity and conclude with suggestions for development work.
