I was excited and hesitant to see where this book would go given the ending of the fourth. I could sort of get into it but when a Second A was introduced while threatening basically the same things it lost me. The kids have already lived through so much and all their ~relevant~ secrets have been exposed. It doesn't seem this A has anything on them.

That ending though. The fanfic i was speculating got blown to pieces. I was not ready emotionally for that murder. And thats the thing about this series. its a thriller, a murder mystery at its core. i keep forgetting that. A murder in *my* thriller series!?! i gasped and sent a barrage of texts to my roomates.
