Ultimate Binding and Edge-Finishing Guide for Quilting and Sewing is a useful and well photographed tutorial guide for finishing and binding by Deonn Stott. Due out 6th Feb 2024 from Fox Chapel, it's 80 pages and will be available in paperback and ebook formats.
This is a creative and beautifully illustrated guide with step-by-step directions for lots of fun edge finishes for sewn items, quilts, linens, and crafting projects. The author writes clearly and understandably and the "action shots" in the tutorials are all clear, in color, and without tools or hands in the way.
It's a very short book (80 pages), but packed full of useful info. It will be a welcome addition to the home sewist's library and would be a good choice for public library and maker's groups.
Five stars. The tips on turning corners and miters alone are worth the price of the book. VERY clear closeup/macro photos. All the photos are in color.
Disclosure: I received an ARC at no cost from the author/publisher for review purpose
