Quirky Cat
Summary:
It's never a dull day in the life of Carol Danvers. Even when she's trying to take a break, something seems to creep up. On the bright side, she has some of the best friends at her back, so she knows she'll make it through.
Enter a collection of short adventures! It's time to deal with a flood of Flerkins (how cute!), teaching a fellow hero to drive, flash mobs, and digital doppelgangers!
Review:
I've read most of the stories collected in Captain Marvel: Game On, but I clearly missed one or two! As such, I was thrilled to sit down and read them all. This is the volume to read if you love Carol, Flerkins, or fun chaos!
Okay, I'll admit a tiny bit of bias here. I adore the Flerkins, so any story that includes them (Chewy solo or a whole swarm of them; I'm not picky) will pretty much make my day. So, that story was the highlight of this volume.
Conversely, I didn't love the doppelganger one quite as much. The rest fit snugly somewhere in the middle, entertaining but not stealing the show. Overall, it's a great volume, especially if you're looking to read about the lighter side of being a superhero.
