This booklet emerged from a 7-week trip comprising Japan, Korea, China, Hong Kong, Bangkok and Dubai. At the end of each day, Vic Cruz drew the day in her notebook and assembled her daily collection of cultural symbols and artefacts. Meanwhile Vic Duke wrote up each day in his notebook. Once back home Vic Cruz created the 14 collages, which form the core of this volume. After rather too long a delay, Vic Duke has finally added words to accompany the collages. Each image portrays a different aspect of Asian culture and society. Make of them what you will.
