Will Angie find Ryan's Subway Girl while still being true to herself?
Ryan Carlson
Ryan Carlson is the whole reason why this story exists. He saw a girl on the subway that he thought was beautiful and didn't get a chance to talk to her before she got off at her stop. After that, well, the whole thing got way too complicated once Celebrity Monger got wind. Let's just say that Ryan probably should have said no to doing this project. Ryan is a great guy from a small town in Iowa and is honestly just looking for a girl that wants to spend the rest of their lives together. He goes on an emotional roller coaster ride throughout this entire thing.
What I like about Ryan is that despite being in New York for three years, he is still a sweet, honest guy from Iowa with his manners and weird sense of humor. Another thing that I like about him is that Ryan doesn't want to let go of his faith that there is actually a thing called fate and true love. Is he able to find it though in this subway girl or someone else?
Angie Prince
Angie Prince is just a girl who just wants to help pay off the mortgage on her mom's house, get Celebrity Monger to a national tv company, and to quit that job to find one where she can write what she wants to write. Sadly it happens just not in the way she excepted. Angie is a sweet girl who had a tough time in life. She has spent most of her whole life living in New York. Now she has to deal with everything that her company is doing to exploit Ryan's romance. It's just a very sucky time to be alive.
What I like about Angie is that despite her being a small person, she has a temper that can blow a fuse if someone crosses her the wrong way. Despite that, though, she does have a soft side that she lets loose every once and awhile. Another thing that I like about her is that Angie knows what she wants to do and will fight for it.
Five Stars
The Subway Girl by Lisa Becker is a fantastic book from this author. Each of these romances from this author is significantly different while still ringing the same as some of them are within the same universe. I thought that was cool, especially with ties to the last two romance books I have read from this author. Angie and Ryan are two very different characters that somehow fit in perfectly with each other in a way that neither of them thought was possible. I love reading books from Ms. Becker as she brings the total opposite attracts possible. I am giving this book five stars and recommending it to anyone that loves romance.
Thank you for dropping by! I hope you enjoyed this review of The Subway Girl by Lisa Becker.
