There were several things I didn't like about this book. Primarily it felt like it never really went anywhere. Yes, I know we followed Frankie around in Paris with her grandmother, but I wasn't drawn in to the story. Even though there were a few places that her telekinetic abilities were used, it just didn't seem necessary to the story at all that she had those powers. It was almost like it was thrown in so the story could be put in the paranormal genre. Without her abilities, the story wouldn't really have changed at all.
