Things are really picking up in Farmhand! I’ll be honest; I really wasn’t sure what to expect from this series, but so far it has succeeded in blowing any expectations I did have out of the water. I honestly can’t wait for the next issue to drop, because I’m so anxious to see where this is all going.
I think we all knew right off the bat that there had to be a cost for all of this. There’s no way you could just grow (literally) human parts like that without a heavier cost being somewhere down the line, right?
The fact that the implanting process can be pretty gruesome and painful looking was more than enough to convince me of that. I mean, really? Whatever they attach has to actually bite the subject? And then what? Is it really 100% that person now, or is there still something left of the plant? You know, the plant that a moment ago just had razor sharp teeth. Consider me concerned.
I know this is going to lead someplace interesting, and I just can’t wait to get there. I hope the next issue is out soon.
