Secret Agent Deadpool keeps making me laugh. Okay, that may slightly be my fondness of Christopher Hastings talking, but I really am enjoying the series. I don’t read a ton of Deadpool (I tend to read the shorter miniseries that spring up – they’re short and funny) but I do love how Deadpool is always getting himself into one mess or another. At least this time around he has access to cool technology (without having to steal it or spend a fortune on one thing).
This issue had less of the James Bond jokes than the last few did, which I was a little sad about (I love it when they point out his obvious character flaws or the way he treats people), but they’re moving on with the actual plot, so I can’t complain too much.
This issue brought the plot full circle, so my guess is that the next one will resolve everything and that’ll be the conclusion. It’s sad, but it was a fun run while it lasted!
