Quirky Cat

Being the second to the last issue (in the main plot, at least) there’s a lot going on here. Including what looks like the final battle. Obviously that can’t be the case, since there’s no way the last issue will be all wrap up (and because a certain event occurred that made that much pretty clear).
I’m curious about the characters they chose to assign to each of the different infinity stones. That’s not to say that I’m arguing with them, I just didn’t except some of them. Spoiler Warning, I’m going to talk about who got what stone now. Emma Frost got the power stone, which actually makes so much sense it isn’t even funny (though it’s terrifying to think of her using it). Hulk got assigned the space stone, which I can see, but it’s one of the ones I didn’t expect. Ant-Man got the time stone – that one I really didn’t see coming. Kang received the reality stone (I would have expected him to get the time stone…). Ms. Marvel got the mind stone, which again I wouldn’t have predicted. And finally Loki went with the soul stone, as he’s lived and died several times (his words, not mine). I feel like a few of the stones are in different hands than I would have picked for that particular group…but I also can’t really argue with them either? Anyway, it’s not like they planned to hold the stone for any real length of time. Just long enough to stop Gamora.
