I still have so many questions about this series, but in a good way. We’re learning more about Pearl and the characters around her. Unfortunately that also means that we’re sometimes getting only parts of the story…thus the questions. On the bright side it’s doing a great job of keeping me interested in what is happening, so that’s good.
The artwork for this series is, to put it plainly, lovely. I love the color palette. And Pearl just looks fantastic, striking and that unintentional elegance at the same time.
