Pearl has been an interesting series so far. This issue went a long way in fully explaining Pearl’s backstory. We already had a good idea about most of it…but there were a few fuzzy moments. Now there’s very little doubt in my mind as to what happened.
Can I just say that Pearl’s best friend is pretty awesome? How many friends do you know that would still be around after everything that happened in the last issue?
I honestly wasn’t expecting the turn that occurred midway through this issue. I’m curious to see where this is going to lead, because I sincerely have no clue. Clearly there’s more going on than I’m aware of…
